Personally, I found it pretty incredible.  

 

I'm not a big fan of "AI" or even the use of that term, that's seemingly used for so much of everything today....

Artificial Intelligence... which is really advanced computer programming algorithms, various methods to simulate logic, or thinking, or spurious random 

generation, pattern recognition, fuzzy logic, neural networks, some of that is used for data collection, analysis & marketing, some for investigating, National

Security, simulation, chemical & scientific experimenting...omputers advancing in speed & memory, exponentially... like that penny doubled every day for a

month, how rich that makes you... within computational speeds that are actually difficult to comprehend....

 

I've used computer tools, design / drafting, 3D design / solid modeling, iterative mathematical analysis, exporting designs for prototypes using stl,

computer controls for automation, utilized cnc machines,  oven control & temperature control systems, pid algorithms, I've designed & manufactured various

pieces of factory automation equipment, updated older equipment with newer computer control systems, ladder logic, plc's, (programmable logic controllers),

etc... most of my life I've had a half dozen or more computers in my home, I've used all sorts of software, from programming to web development, libreoffice

or artistic design programs, autocad inventor, photography editing, many relatively  normal & many advanced operations on pc's & workstations...accounting  i

inventory control... etc... quality control... networking, communications, ftp, etc...

I've always been a "techie" of some sort... with a large background in manufacturing, engineering, but also with internet, websites, databases, etc.

So I'm not adverse to good technology.... but I'm also a carpenter & a machinist / die maker... electrician... and a mechanic... and I enjoy those skills & that 

kind of manual labor.. it's healthy.

When I utilized automation or designed automated equipment... designing such & implementing it within factories that I have owned or worked at, 

those efforts were in interests of increasing efficiency, and increasing business growth & advancing employment...

We hired more people.... who got paid more because of those efficiencies... and better benfits... and I was proud of that. 

Too many people look to automation today to replace or "alleviate" people's jobs... while jobs...good jobs... they're the real key to societal stability,

to advancing hope, sustenance, morality, for people & all of our posterity... the industrial revolution in USA advanced so many people's lives...

their standard of living & the Nation's... the businesses that grew advanced our Nation's standard of living beyond any other Nation in the world... we

advanced & thrived in Steel, Lumber, Auto Manufacturing, Airplanes, radio & tv, manufacturiong machinery, tractors, trucks, engines, military equipment,

agriculture, food, beef, poultry, all sorts of supply enterprises, tools, farm equipment, textile equipment, components, calculators, computers, remember when

silicon valley used to make the majority of computer components used in the free world...etc...tires, brakes, furniture,

oil, textiles, clothes, not many years ago the best shirts you could buy, were made right here in USA in Maine.... not any more...

Shoes, socks, even candy...crackers... paper.... ink...

America, the United States of America, we produced almost 50,000 planes a Year during WWII... unfathomable today.. and most or all of the components utilized

within them... from electronics... hardware...systems... materials... even during times of material shortages... the Arsenal of Democracy....which really should have

been called The Arsenal of our Republic...because we are not a Democracy, and too many people keep forgetting that or ignoring that, No, we are a Constitutional

Republic,  a Nation, a Government founded within the incredible beliefs we're all created equal, with unalienable rights endowed from our Creator, our rights

don't come from the whims of others... not bureaucrats, not rulers, not Government Legislators, No, they, our unalienable rights, come from our Creator..

and because of that intrinsic incredible principle, we, the United States of America, we were so strong, we essentially had most of the capacity within our own

borders to make everything we needed to win that war... and with over 35% of the civilian workforce being Women, many or most having been newly trained,

having advanced technical skills learned exceedingly rapidly, of "Rosie the Riveter" historical fame, with all hands on deck to win that war...and we were on a

National mission, to save the world from oppressive tyrannical evil & to defend ourselves... to defend our Liberty & the worlds.

We also had "People of Color" / minority groups and members of all religions in our Armed Services, including Christians, Muslims & Jews, and all of them served

to prove, naturally, unequivocally testifying, proving again that discriminatory beliefs harbored in sexism, racism & bigotry being of the most foolhardy and

ridiculous, callous, against Life's self evident blessings from our Creator, our unalienable rights, and that we're created equal, that people, that individuals, are

solely responsible for themselves, their own actions, within their own character and morality, their own efforts, and each

individual, they solely determine & make their own footprints in life, and that anything against that, stifling  people from being able to make their own footprint,

within each individuals unalienable rights, respecting & honoring everyone else's unalienable rights, is against us all, against the USA, human Liberty and against

our Creator.

 

America, the United States of America, today, needs to expand our citizen's capacities... to grow our children's minds, their hope & their dreams, & their

healthy employment & their growth as individuals... not accept status quo, not limited, but to think out of the box & concentrate on getting our Nation & our

people truly productive again... engaged in Liberty... advancing their lives & health... protecting their & their children's futures...not concentrating on "cheating

the system" and working around excessive taxes & over regulation... nor of Unions destroying good companies with their marxist ideology... or politicians

helping businesses gear up to stop making their products in USA... or businesses that forgot that if they have good employees that do good, that have good

opportunity, that they do better...and their businesses do better, the communities & nation where they live do better, their children & families do better, etc, 

etc., not to eliminate their workforce, undermine hope & opportunity for workforces & watch their communities snowball down within societal decline...

They should mandate a course about that tragic fact to be held in every university in USA, and on the stock market floors... & in every boardroom in USA...

that would be a miracle... wouldn't it?... to actually get stockholders & business "leaders" & colleges in USA teaching how critically important it is to keep jobs

in USA. to keep people employed, communities stabilized... not only for them, but our entire Nation & for the interests of the entire world, too.

Surely now is not the time in USA history to try to replace everybody with computers & robots and "AI" in some warped psychotics dreams... to dumb down

our citizens more, to have them do less & less, and make less & less...

The only winning scenario is always when everybody grows... in capacity, mental & physical, in hope & dreams, in real health, in earnest occupations, in jobs

& enterprise that supports their self esteem, whether that's sweeping floors or building jets... or designing or making miniature electrical components or

harvesting food... the kind of self esteem human beings get from gainful employment.... and the healthy mental growth within working within human

comraderie...developing friends & associates... everybody working toward a common goal of everybody doing better... within their communities, their State,

their entire society...

The kind of state of mind that built USA in to the greatest industrialized nation ever known to man, a nation devoted to Liberty, individual's rights...

advancement, hope, filled with dreams & opportunity.

 

No, I don't believe in wholly AI operated automobiles, if it's on the road and has the potential to cause someones death, to me, there should always be an

operator onboard, paying attention to where it's going, or for paying attention to random malfunctions, dangerous conditions, etc.

Human Life to me, is not so inconsequential or frivolous, just about some bean counters "numbers", to be willing to wantonly expose innocent people to that l

evel of lack of concern for their safety or lives, expecting some form of technology to provide for all the possible random events in life, which is essentially

impossible.

Profiting from "AI" in stock market speculation or selling automobiles that "drive themselves", is not justification for "operator" less operating of vehicles

that random spurious events, events not possible to plan for & to configure for all potential worst case scenarios, that vehicles & passengers can be subject

to, as well as those within the scope of their driving environment...

We should be making drivers more aware... not more complacent...

I'll say it again as I've said it before many times,

"AI" algorithms will never be able to pilot a plane like Sully... the captain who saved all his passengers because he was

thoroughly experienced, knowledgable pilot who had common sense, instant applicaiton of that experience and made the best decisions based on saving

human lives...and he did just that.... He saved all those lives...

 

The promotion of much of new "AI" is geared toward "content creation"... so people are using "AI" to actually generate texts, social media posts, advertising,

propagand campaigns, responses, etc...I'm not so sure the flood of such content creation isn't going to harm or potentially destroy much of social media...

Is it a bot or a person, what's it's intention?...What will the proliferation of content be mostly used for?... Does everything balance out?... I'm not sure...

I don't believe AI generated Music will ever replace live performers... it may shake some cages... push more creative expression... etc...

It's interesting or fun hearing different versions of old classics... sometimes performers will do that... and it brings a song that hasn't been heard for years back

in to the public's interest... which is really great... but of course it's always great hearing or seeing the original performers, live or video of their live

performances,  etc... their talent & creativity... Music fuels much of life... many things... emotions... friends... loves... even work... it inspires... it comforts

it drives...motivates....charges...

 

So I've written a few songs, I tried drumming up interest,  looking for someone to try making one of those songs... singing it... believing maybe a good solid

message would possibly be far more effectively spread within music.. but nobody took me up on it...

It wasn't a few months ago, I came across Suno AI... and figured I'd give it a try... my first attempt amazed me... what a pleasure to hear your words

come to life in a song... So, I tried multiple versions... I love music... from Country & Western, to Rock, Classic & new age, some Metal, Disco, R&B. Light

Rap, Funk,Jazz, Folk & Bluegrass... I use strawberry music player... and try to keep music on whenever I can... I grew up in that kind of environment, I think

music is healthy...

So I tried a few different versions of each of my songs.... which I've posted here... I'd love to hear someone or a group pick one up & record it...

a real good Country or Soul version, or a couple of people, different versions, to help spread a good word...or incite thought... to make people think about

what USA really is for ALL OF US...

 

I went on X the other day, and I asked Grok if it liked my song... Grok responded (amazingly, in nary a few seconds):

How could you not like reading that?...:)

You or I, we have to admit that's pretty amazing... the capacity within the system that was able to do that...in seconds... yes it can be very scary...

I can only hope that what evolves out of that kind of capacity, serves as impetus for mankind to really use their heads... more so...

like a man with his head held under water struggles & craves for air.... and that perhaps humanity & human ideology, will really try to utilize the incredible

Blessings from our Creator they've been endowed with, instead of taking so much for granted or letting so much of that go to waste, obfuscated,

and that some form of realization of those blessings and our individual capacities within, can somehow help to motivate & propel a new age of enlightenment

& serve an effective growth for all of us... for USA & humanity... spiritually, morally & philosophically...

and I pray we don't experience the diametrical opposite of that, the potential dark side of that coin and it's Orwellian implications, instead...

 

But, for right now, I've posted the Suno AI versions of my songs... maybe they're like prototypes... and maybe they'll help spur some good thoughts....

& thinking, in people's minds & their actions... hopefully as much as exemplified within Grok's pretty amazing response,
